Reportedly, a car struck a pedestrian in southeast Austin Wednesday night, leaving them critically injured and requiring hospitalization.

Austin-Travis County EMS reported that medics performed CPR on the adult victim at the 1000 block of McAngus Road, located between FM 973 and State Highway 130.

The incident happened around 8:23 p.m. The patient was airlifted to Dell Seton Medical Center by a STAR Flight medical helicopter for treatment.
