One Hurt in La Mirada Truck Collision on Gannet Street

 
LA MIRADA, CA (June 17, 2019) – A person suffered injuries in a big rig and box truck collision on Gannet Street on June 14.
 
A big rig filled with liquid nitrogen and a box truck collided. Deputies came to the scene around 12:30 a.m. on Gannet Street and Valley View Avenue, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Norwalk Station revealed.
 
Firefighters freed one of the drivers. However, it’s unclear which vehicle he drove. Responders transported the driver to a hospital with serious injuries.
 
 LASD clarified that there was no spill of liquid nitrogen following the crash.
 
The crash remains under investigation.
