BAKERSFIELD, CA (March 20, 2025) – Wednesday night, an alarming auto accident on Highway 99 and Highway 58 injured 1 person.

The crash occurred at about 8:47 p.m. on southbound Highway 99 and eastbound Highway 58.

At least one person was injured in the crash, but the extent of their injuries is unknown.

According to CHP, at least one person—the driver—was pinned inside an SUV after crashing into a construction truck on southbound Highway 99, just north of Stockdale Highway. Their condition is currently unknown.
