1 Injured in 4-Car Crash on 80 Freeway Near N Street [Sacramento, CA]

Injuries Reported in Sacramento Multi-Car Accident

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (April 5, 2019) – Paramedics transported one person to a hospital Wednesday following a 4-car crash on 80 Freeway near N Street.
 
According to reports, the crash involved four cars including a big rig. As a result, three northbound lanes were blocked due to investigation and clean up.
 
Per a California Highway Patrol incident log, fire crews extricated one patient in the 1:30 p.m. crash and transported the victim to a hospital. By 2:15 p.m. all lanes reopened.
 
Inside the victim’s vehicle, firefighters rescue two dogs, as well.
 
It’s unclear at this point what caused all four vehicles to collide. However, authorities are investigating this case further.
