Injuries Reported in Hesperia Auto Accident on Interstate 15 and Ranchero Road

HESPERIA, CA (April 8, 2025) – Monday morning, a crippling 2-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 and Ranchero Road injured 1 person.

The incident involving a semi-truck and a red Toyota Prius happened around 4:30 a.m. Moreover, it occurred on the southbound Interstate 15, just north of Ranchero Road off-ramp.

Officers found a red Toyota Prius with major damage to the driver’s side and rear end blocking the #1 lane. A semi-truck involved in the crash was pulled over on the right shoulder.

One person was taken to Desert Valley Hospital in Victorville with minor injuries.

A Sig Alert was issued around 5 a.m. for the southbound #1 and #2 lanes, backing up traffic on the 15 Freeway and Mariposa Road.

A tow truck removed the damaged Prius, and all southbound lanes reopened by 5:20 a.m.

Traffic delays continued on Mariposa Road for several miles during the morning rush.
