Police Investigate a Crash on Interstate 5 near Iowa Street in Bellingham

Bellingham, WA (October 28, 2021) – Thursday morning, one person sustained injuries in a crash on Interstate 5 near Iowa Street.

The crash in Bellingham happened at 11:45 a.m. on October 28. 

Reportedly, firefighters were first called to northbound I-5 near Iowa Street for the report of an expanded traffic collision. One car was upside down in the northbound crash and that at least one person was injured.

There are no other details of the crash at this time.

The Washington State Patrol and Washington State Department of Transportation continue to further investigate the collision.
