VALENCIA, CA (April 12, 2022) – Monday morning, a person sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash on 5 Freeway near Rye Canyon Road.
 
The incident occurred at about 6:45 a.m. on the southbound 5 Freeway. Moreover, it happened between Rye Canyon Road and Magic Mountain Parkway.
 
Amanda Morales, a spokesperson for LA County Fire Department confirmed that two vehicles were overturned. As a result, one person was trapped.
 
“One person was transported to the hospital,” Morales added.
