1 Hurt in Fontana Car Collision on Almeria Avenue

 
FONTANA, CA (June 3, 2019) – A person sustianed injuries in a car collision on Almeria Avenue on May 31.
 
The Fontana Police Department and the San Bernardino County Fire Department both responded.
 
A Fontana P.D. officer said that at around 11:20 p.m., the Cruze driver traveled south on Almeria. After that, it attempted to turn left onto Baseline. Meanwhile, the Sentra driver traveling east on Baseline broadsided the Cruze. The Cruze then crashed into a power pole.
 
The Fontana P.D. is currently investigating whether alcohol played a role in the crash between a black Chevy Cruze was broadsided by a gray Nissan Sentra.
 
Medics treated one person and took him/her to a hospital with injuries.
