1 Hospitalized after Reno Bicycle Collision
RENO, NV (October 28, 2019) – A person suffered injuries in a car and bicycle collision on Vassar Street on October 16.
According to the Reno Police Department, the bicyclist rode down the road with no reflective gear when a car hit him.
The rider suffered non-life-threatening injuries. After that, responders transported a bicyclist to a hospital after the collision near Vassar Street and Wilkinson Avenue.
Both the driver and the bicyclist received citations. The driver got a citation for a right of way violation. In addition, the bicycle rider is cited for improper gear.
