Police Investigate the 60 Freeway Wrong-Way Crash in Jurupa Valley

 
Jurupa Valley, CA (December 16, 2020) – Tuesday night, one individual was hospitalized after a reported wrong-way crash on 60 Freeway.
 
The crash happened at around 10:44 p.m on December 15.
 
The California Highway Patrol reported two vehicles in the centre divider and several other vehicles on the right shoulder.
 
They found an occupant inside a small red sedan needing an extrication from the vehicle.
 
Emergency crews then transported the patient to a hospital in unknown condition.
 
At this time, it is still unclear what caused the crash, however, some reports indicated the Scion XB was travelling the wrong way and other reports indicated the red sedan was the wrong-way driver.
 
Further investigation is on-going.
