1 Injured in 2-Car Collision Near Avenue 24 and Road 16 [Chowchilla, CA]

2-Vehicle Accident in Chowchilla Leaves 1 Injured

 
CHOWCHILLA, CA (November 15, 2019)—One person suffered injuries in a two-vehicle collision near Avenue 24 and Road 16 Wednesday.
 
According to Chowchilla Police Sgt. David Burnett, the incident happened around 6:00 p.m. when a driver rammed into the rear of a trailer.
 
Burnett further added that it is unclear how fast the driver had been going at the time. As a result of the impact, the car sustained major damage and the driver suffered critical injuries.
 
Paramedics arrived and airlifted him to Community Regional Medical Center while the other driver appeared unharmed, albeit shaken up.
 
Because details are scant, investigators are looking into the details of this crash.
