1 Hurt in Everett Car Crash

 
EVERETT, WA (August 27, 2019) – A person suffered injuries while police arrested another after a police chase crash on 41st Street August 24.
 
Before 7:00 p.m., a WSP trooper attempted to chase a stolen BMW on southbound 5 Freeway near Marysville. However, the trooper ended the chase because the other driver was traveling at a high speed.
 
A short while after, the suspect collided with another car on the off-ramp to 41st Street. A woman occupying the other car suffered injuries and went to the hospital.
 
The suspect attempted to flee the scene following the collision. However, authorities took the suspect into custody.
 
Authorities also shut down the north and southbound off-ramps to 41st Street during the investigation.
