1 Injured in Auto Accident near Hayes Avenue in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (April 15, 2020) – Monday morning, one victim was hospitalized following a truck collision on McKinley Avenue.
 
CHP first received reports around 7:49 a.m., on April 13. Dispatchers arrived to the area on West McKinley Avenue and North Hayes Avenue, shortly after.
 
The incident involved a white truck and a second unidentified white vehicle. However, the events leading up remain unclear.
 
Authorities located the unidentified vehicle’s driver trapped inside as a result of the wreckage. Firefighters then extricated the driver, before they were transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment of major injuries.
 
The surrounding area on McKinley Avenue was closed off for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. However, the roadway has since reopened.
 
At this time, the investigation to determine further information remains ongoing. Once available, more details will be given.
