Pedestrian Hospitalized after Hit by Car in West Hollywood

 
WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA (May 31, 2019) – Authorities sent one person to the hospital after a pedestrian accident at Santa Monica Boulevard and Martel Avenue early Wednesday morning.
 
Reports indicated that a vehicle struck the pedestrian and another vehicle just before 1:00 a.m. Subsequently, it crashed into a tree just east of Gardner Street. The West Hollywood Sheriff’s deputies followed the driver who apparently, recklessly operated the vehicle.
 
Sheriff’s deputies took custody of the occupants at gunpoint with the assistance of the Los Angeles police.
 
In the meantime, emergency responders took one pedestrian to a nearby hospital in stable condition. The West Hollywood Sheriffs deputies still currently lead the investigation of this crash.
