1 Hospitalized after DUI Crash on South Eastern Avenue [East Los Angeles, CA]

Vehicle Crashes into House near East 3rd Street

EAST LOS ANGELES, CA (November 18, 2018) – On Sunday evening, one person was hospitalized after a DUI crash on South Eastern Avenue.

According to California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 8:52 PM, near the intersection of East 3rd Street. Authorities stated that a black Dodge Charger and a white Chevrolet Suburban were found at the scene.

One of the vehicles crashed into a house in the area. One of the drivers had reportedly been drinking prior to the incident. Paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. One of the drivers was sent to Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center, but the victim’s condition is unknown.

The road were blocked as a clearing operation was performed in the area. It is not clear if any arrests were made by the authorities. An investigation is ongoing to verify all initial data, and additional information will be released once it becomes available.
