Officers Arrest Driver in Reno Traffic Collision
Reno, NV (April 28, 2023) – Early morning on Friday, a person sustained injuries following a suspected DUI crash on McCarran Boulevard.
Officers said a car ran off the road, rolled over, and crashed into the backyard of a home on Gault Way.
The vehicle ran into a power line and knocked out power to nearby homes. According to the emergency responders, the power lines fell onto the car and in the backyard.
The Nevada State Police said the downed power lines were active and responders were urged to stay away from the wreck.
Moreover, Sparks Police freed three passengers from the car.
The authorities arrested the driver on suspicion of drunk driving
Later on, the paramedics rushed an injured person to Renown Hospital.
Officers are still investigating the Reno traffic collision.
