SACRAMENTO, CA (February 24, 2020) – Thursday afternoon, an unidentified victim sustained injuries after they were extricated from a car in an accident on Highway 50.
 
The collision blocked multiple lanes of westbound traffic on Highway 50 between 59th Street and Stockton Boulevard. Dispatchers arrived to the scene around noon. However, the events leading up are currently unclear.
 
According to reports, emergency personnel extricated one victim from a crumpled car. Medics later took them to a nearby hospital for further treatment. However, their condition remains unknown as of this time.
