Multi-Car Crash on 16400 Block of West Vanowen Street Killed One Person and Injured Another One

 
Van Nuys, CA (August 7, 2020) – On Thursday, one person died and another was injured in a multi-car crash on the 16400 block of West Vanowen Street.
 
The accident happened at about 9:10 p.m. outside of the Van Nuys Airport.
 
Firefighters pronounced one of the drivers dead at the scene as they take him out of his vehicle. The second driver is in fair condition after getting out of his car, and was taken to a hospital.
 
Meanwhile, the third driver in the collision left the scene just before authorities arrived.
 
Authorities are still investigating the possible cause of the accident. They closed Vanowen Street for one block in both directions.
