1 Killed in Tehachapi Motorcycle Crash near Noria Drive
TEHACHAPI, CA (March 6, 2020) – An unidentified victim was killed in a semi-truck and motorcycle crash on Tehachapi Boulevard on Wednesday, March 4.
The Tehachapi Police Officers received a call of a traffic collision in the area of East Tehachapi Boulevard and Noria Drive.
Reports indicate that a motorcycle was heading east on East Tehachapi Boulevard while a semi-truck was attempting to make a U-turn. There, the vehicles collided.
The motorcyclist was down on the roadway upon arrival. Paramedics transported him to Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster for further treatment of life-threatening injuries. However, he later died due to the extent of his condition
Meanwhile, the truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Authorities are also still urging anyone with information about the incident to contact the Tehachapi Police Department at (661) 822-2222. Due to pending family notification, the identity of the deceased remains unknown.
