RIVERSIDE, CA (September 16, 2021) – On Wednesday, a person died in a pedestrian crash on Arlington Avenue and El Padro Street.
 
According to Riverside Police Department, the incident happened on Arlington Avenue and El Padro Street.
 
Reports revealed that the pedestrian attempted to open the passenger doors of passing cars before the crash. Moments later, a westbound box truck struck the pedestrian. The crash happened as the pedestrian walked towards the street from the center median of Arlington Avenue.
 
Furthermore, responders rushed the pedestrian to a hospital where he later died.
