1 Killed in Hughson Motorcycle Accident on Santa Fe Avenue near Leedom Road

 
HUGHSON, CA (November 1, 2021) – Sunday afternoon, a person died in a motorcycle crash on Santa Fe Avenue near Leedom Road.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 2:35 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Santa Fe Avenue just north of Leedom Road, in front of Lakewood Memorial Park.
 
Reports revealed that a southbound 2007 Harley-Davidson motorcycle attempted to pass other vehicles. Then, it rear-ended a 2015 Infiniti sedan. Thus, the force of the crash ejected the male motorcyclist onto the shoulder of the road.
 
Moreover, responders pronounced the motorcyclist, a 30-year-old man, dead at the scene. The Infinity driver, 27-year-old Maria Gomez, and her passenger, 5-year-old Evelyn Hernandez, sustained no injuries in the crash.
 
Furthermore, the incident remains under investigation.
