NHP Investigates Fatal Bus Accident at Spooner Summit
Las Vegas, NV (July 19, 2023) On Tuesday afternoon, a tragic 2-vehicle crash on US 50 West left 1 adult dead and another with serious injuries.
According to Nevada State Police – Highway Patrol Division (NHP), that the bus accident happened around 1:43 p.m. on Highway 50 West at the top of Spooner Summit.
Reports say that the collision involved an airport shuttle bus and another vehicle. Authorities say that at least 1 adult was pronounced dead at the scene and an adult suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Medics transported the injured adult to a hospital.
Additionally, officials say multiple people suffered minor injuries, but none required hospitalization.
NHP is investigating the fatal bus accident and has not yet provided additional details at this time.
