1 Person Dead in Head-On Crash on State Route 99 [Oroville, CA]

1 Killed and 2 Hospitalized in Oroville Traffic Accident on State Route 99

 
OROVILLE, CA (January 25, 2022) – Sunday morning, a person died after a head-on crash on State Route 99.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on State Route 99.
 
Reports revealed that a black Nissan Sentra veered across the center line and collided head-on with a semi-truck. Then, the semi-truck attempted to avoid the collision but to no avail.
 
Moreover, officials confirmed that a passenger of the Nissan died in the crash. Paramedics transported the Nissan driver and another passenger to a hospital with major injuries. The truck driver sustained no injuries in the crash.
 
Furthermore, the events leading to the crash remain under investigation.
