1 Person Killed in Brazoria County DUI Crash on Highway 288
BRAZORIA COUNTY, TX (February 27, 2023) – Sunday morning, a 19-year-old passenger died in a suspected DUI accident on Highway 288.
The incident happened on southbound Highway 288.
According to reports, a black GMC pickup truck struck a parked white Chevrolet truck for still unknown reasons.
Moreover, paramedics rushed a 19-year-old female passenger of the GMC to a hospital. However, she later succumbed to her injuries at the hospital. Then, authorities confirmed that the 27-year-old driver of the GMC sustained minor injuries and showed possible signs of intoxication.
Furthermore, officers said that no arrests were made as of this time.
