INDIO, CA (February 9, 2023) – Tuesday night, a person died in a pedestrian crash on Interstate 10 near State Route 86.
 
The incident happened at around 11:05 p.m. on Interstate 10 near State Route 86.
 
According to a CHP spokeswoman, a vehicle struck a pedestrian for still unknown reasons and then fled the scene.
