1 Killed and 7 Hurt in Redondo Beach Multi-Vehicle Accident

REDONDO BEACH, CA (November 23, 2018) – A person died and seven people were transported to a hospital following a multi-vehicle accident on November 19.

The Redondo Beach Police Department revealed that the collision occurred at roughly 2:50 p.m. when a vehicle was driving west on Torrance Boulevard toward Pacific Coast Highway.

“The vehicle failed to stop for the red light and continued through the intersection. It crashed into several vehicles that were traveling north and south on PCH”, a police statement revealed.

Officials also reported that the intersection of PCH and Torrance Boulevard was still unavailable as of 7:00 p.m.

The extent of the injuries sustained by the seven people involved in the collision was not immediately known as of this time. The identity of the deceased is being withheld.
