According to the authorities, the incident happened near 51st Avenue and Fillmore Street.
Reports revealed that a northbound passenger car rear-ended a jeep. The force of the crash pushed the jeep to collide into a power pole before it started catching fire.
Furthermore, responders pronounced the unidentified jeep driver, dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, paramedics confirmed that the four occupants of the car sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
