1 Dead, 4 Injured in Accident on Highway 204 near Lundeen Parkway [Lake Stevens, WA]

1 Killed and 4 Hospitalized after Lake Stevens Car Accident

 
LAKE STEVENS, WA (July 19, 2019) – A man died while four people sustained injuries in a head-on car accident on Highway 204 on July 17.
 
Lake Stevens police revealed that a man in his late 40s drove an eastbound Ford Fiesta on Highway 204. Unfortunately, the Ford crossed the line near Lundeen Parkway and crashed head-on with a GMC Envoy at noon.
 
As a result, the Ford driver died later in the afternoon. Meanwhile, responders transported a man, woman and two children in the GMC to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. Lake Stevens police Cmdr. Jeff Beazizo revealed that the four people sustained injuries.
 
The two vehicles are both totaled.
 
The crash remains under investigation and the highway reopened about 3:00 p.m. However, police did not release any additional information regarding the accident at this time.
