VISALIA, CA (July 17, 2022) – Friday night, a person died and a person sustained injuries in a solo crash on Highway 99 near Betty Drive.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 9:30 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Highway 99 near Betty Drive.
 
Reports revealed that a vehicle crashed into a guardrail on the right-hand shoulder for still unknown reasons.
 
Moreover, responders pronounced a man in his 60s dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported a passenger of the vehicle to Kaweah health medical center with unknown injuries.
 
Furthermore, authorities said that it is still unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.
