People Injured in Bus Collision Near the Walnut Creek Bart Station
San Ramon, CA (March 10, 2023) – On Thursday, four people sustained injuries following a multi-vehicle collision on Ygnacio Valley Road near the Walnut Creek BART station.
The Contra Costa County Fire Protection District stated that three cars and a commuter bus servicing the Bishop Ranch business district of San Ramon were involved in the collision.
One of the victims sustained critical injuries while three other patients were taken to the hospital. One of them with moderate injuries and two with lesser injuries.
Medics also evaluated some of the passengers aboard the bus.
Meanwhile, Con Fire said the cause of the collision appeared to be a vehicle exiting Highway 680 traveling too fast for the rainy conditions.
