1 Injured Los Angeles Auto Accident on 5 Freeway near Gorman Road

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (November 3, 2020) – Monday morning, a person was airlifted after an accident on 5 Freeway near Gorman Road.
 
At about 7:15 a.m., the first responders heard about a traffic crash on southbound 5 Freeway near Gorman Road.
 
“We were responding to a report of a traffic collision with a person trapped,” said Leslie Lua. Lua is the spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department. “Our units confirmed one person was trapped in a two-vehicle collision.”
 
Upon successfully extricating the victim from the wreckage, the first responders dispatched a helicopter.
 
“The freeway became a landing zone for Copter 21 which transported one patient to a local hospital,” Lua added.
 
The authorities didn’t report any other injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the patient’s condition remains unknown at this time.
